About Me
My name is Trevor Savelkoul. I am a Mathematics Education major at the University of Mary and am graduating in the spring of 2021.
I am originally from a small town north of Minot. I grew up working on a farm where I learned how hard work pays off and to take pride in my work. I enjoy sports and spending time at the lake with my family. I went to elementary, middle and high school at Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood Public School. I graduated high school in 2018 after which I came to the University of Mary to pursue a degree in Mathematics Education.
The Math Department at the University of Mary has taught me many things. In class my critical thinking and problem solving skills have improved greatly. This will help me find new ways to teach and help my students so they all learn the material. I also learned how important collaboration is to learning math.
