- 45+ hours spent in the classroom
- Mr. Andrew Voorhees
- As this practicum was during the pandemic I improved my video making and editing skills.
- I had more time learning how to help students one on one and making connections with those students. I learned how important it is to have a positive atmosphere in the room and to motivate my students.
- I taught multiple lessons that incorporated technology, see video lesson below. I also taught a data driven lesson, and a two day lesson.

Practicum I
Fall 2019 | Bismarck High School | Algebra I
- 45+ hours spent in the classroom
- Ms. Karmen Wahl
- I tutored students of all backgrounds one on one to help them understand the material of the lesson. Doing this showed me how I need to reach students at different points in their learning.
- I learned how a flipped classroom functions and different ways to motivate students.
- I made a video lesson which gave me a taste of what I would need to do to make video lessons and how to integrate technology into math.

- I learned a great amount on how to question a diverse group of students through their problems to increase their own understanding of the material.
